Dr. Fuerst brings over 20 years of experience in financial and technology-driven projects. He combines a career as a valuation and strategy expert advisor to Fortune 500 companies, an academic researcher, an investor and a serial entrepreneur.
Dr. Fuerst was the initiator and the co-director of the Technology Valuation Executive Program at Columbia Business School, focusing on global and technology valuation. Previously he was a faculty member at Yale School of Management and at the International Center for Finance at Yale, specializing in International Valuation and Management Systems.
He is also an active angel investor and is the founder and Chairman of Tevel Global, a Global network of angel investors focused on early stage technology companies.
He was also with the advisory group of KPMG and was a feature columnist for leading financial newspapers (including the Financial Times).
Dr. Fuerst is the author of the books “From Concept to Wall Street” (Financial Times- Prentice Hall, 2003) and “Startup Companies and Venture Capital” (Ramot University Press, 2001), of the online course “The Art of Venture Valuation” (Columbia University Digital Ventures, 2003) and of numerous book chapters in investment books such as “Mastering Investments (FT, 2003). He holds a Masters and Ph.D. from Columbia Business School, focusing on valuation, game theory, public offerings and global equity markets.
